Rooster’s
This restaurant has three locations in Charlotte, all three in neighborhoods known to be the most upscale in Charlotte. Their website says they will serve you “ingredients prepared in the European tradition of cuisine”. I wouldn’t define their menu as super European, but it certainly is top-notch, whatever it is. Their menus change seasonally, but you will always find their gourmet staples here such as their classic rotisserie chicken and mac & cheese. On the week I checked, they had such thrilling options as a short rib pizza (sounds amazing!). They appear to have every protein possible — a larger variety that I normally see at most restaurants. They offer short rib, duck, chicken, steak, flounder, salmon, scallops, shrimp, and oysters… Oh my! They will tempt you with a variety of sides and desserts as well. Believe It or not, they serve brunch every single day of the week as well. It looks sinfully delightful and is just as extensive as their dinner menu. This is truly a drool-worthy place to dine.
