Menya Daruma Noodle Counter

$2.00

OMG – What a great place to eat! I have taken many friends there, and it’s always love at first taste! But I’ll let them speak for themselves. According to their website, “Menya Daruma focuses on the daily preparation of making stock and noodles from scratch… with nuanced depth.” They have a long counter where you can eat and watch the food being made, which adds a little bit of an immersive experience. They also offer a small row of regular tables too. However they say their “counter seating and open kitchen allow our guests to experience how noodles are served at ‘menyas’ (noodle shops) across Japan.” They also offer numerous “snacks” like gyoza, edamame, and bao buns, as well as sandwiches, and sides. Interestingly, they also offer Aruba Soba, a soup-less variation of ramen made, if you don’t want to fill your belly with broth. No matter what you get here, you won’t be disappointed.
