Our Mission

We’re here to be an advocate for solo diners / solo travelers. Solo diners often don’t feel comfortable dining alone in certain restaurants and may avoid certain restaurants altogether.

Single diners have increased their share of U.S. restaurant visits over the last five years to a record 35%, the largest among party sizes, market research says. In all, solo diners made 15.4 billion visits to U.S. restaurants in 2019, up 1% from a year earlier. Restaurant visits from other party sizes have declined, according to NPD.

These are our goals:

  • Make solo diners feel welcome, comfortable, appreciated, and respected!

  • Provide a way for restaurants to benefit from and focus on this “prime-cut” population of customers!
